My name is Mark Hoelter (pronounced like “whole”). I’m an experienced, certified professional coach. I’ve had the pleasure of supporting a variety of individuals – professionals, creatives, leaders, executives, coaches, clergy – get clear on their deeper values and priorities, create boundaries, confront fears, step into a larger vision, discover what they needed to discover, own their unique power, make strategic shifts in work and life, remain true to themselves – authentic, stay on track, and generally experience, in the words of Joseph Campbell, “the rapture of being.”
I’m also an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister who does not serve a congregation. This coaching and my clients’ forward movement is my passion and my creative service to the world at large. (For more about me, click on the tab: About Mark.)
So what brings you to my website? Do any of these sound familiar?
Whether one or more of those applies, first rest assured that you are not alone. And then also be assured the old Quaker phrase, “way opens,” is true for you if you truly want it to be. And professional coaching is a perfect vehicle to help you get from any of those stuck spots to where and who you want to be.
Your experience with coaching is most likely to be affirming, enlightening, safe, and yet also challenging. Your coach will be there reliably, will have your back, be your accountability partner, help keep you on track, and sometimes believe in you when you don’t believe in yourself. You will find yourself stepping outside the box and you’ll find ways to tame your personal gremlins and inner critic when you do. You will find new depths, new clarity, new strengths, and new hope. All of those are my commitment to my clients.
Coaching is very flexible and easily customized to meet your needs. We work together – my coaching is called “co-active” – to help you get clear on what you most want, learn what you need to learn, move past whatever is getting in your way, and create a plan that works best for you. So if you are serious about making some important changes, let’s set up a time to talk. Send me an email at mark@markhoeltercoaching.com. We’ll chat, no obligation, and I’ll give you a feel for what might be possible working together.
I especially love working with gifted, creative, passionate leaders who combine progressive community action and progressive spirituality – community organizers, nonprofit leaders, progressive clergy (ministers, rabbis, priests), social workers, teachers, and more. And I work as well beyond that circle.
